Thanks. Sorry, I ceased seeding 2926 ABB torrents, including this one, due to moderator abuse by Gweilo.
Five days ago I finally registered on the forum to genuinely try to be helpful, I have a repost-duplicate to report and 107 reseeds to request, and I had wanted to help out in other ways too, but when I reported the repost-duplicate in the correct thread for it, Gweilo accused me of requesting a reseed in the wrong thread and deleted my post and threatened me, I told him he made a mistake, he tried to lie his way out of it instead of admitting his mistake and apologizing, and when I called him on it saying I’m trying to help out but I have a low tolerance for abuse, he banned me from posting to the forums for “obnoxious PMs”, and then from the forums entirely for these torrent comments. So I have ceased seeding ABB torrents in protest of his abuse and I will amend a variation of this comment onto most of the torrents I download until I receive an apology and my forum access restored. This has to be this detailed because if he’ll lie in a PM about what I said in text he quoted in a previous PM then he’ll lie to anyone else about the mess he created if I post a less detailed comment.
Once his mess is cleaned up, by him or any other moderator apologizing on his behalf, I’ll resume seeding, report that duplicate again (it was not removed), and work through my reseed requests. I’m sorry to everyone else, I was carrying 5 torrents which are now dead, 117 which now only have 1 other seed, 222 with only 2 other seeds, etc. I know this is bad form to do this in comments but its Gweilo’s mess, and when moderators go on an abusive power trip sometimes there is no other way to deal with it.
opacupa has joined in with a complaint, “I have deleted all my torrents and quit this platform not because abuse by Gweilo but because Gweilo is contemptible person who personally ruined it.”
Anyone else have a problem with Gweilo? Can other moderators coordinate an effort to take up his workload, recruit another moderator or two, form a team to replace him, clean up his various messes, and rebuild a healthy community?
On 11/1, it seems I was banned from ABB, LOL! I try to be helpful, get abused for it, complain, and they just want me to go away, LOL… no. ABB is a multi-year hobby for me, part of my daily routine, and now I find there’s something rotten here, but I still care about it, I’m not just going to give up so some asshole can cover up their bad behavior. It’s Cartman syndrome, a thin skinned bully got push back from someone not impressed with his authoritay and now he doesn’t want to play.
