clearly leadingnorth feels defensive of how they were raised by parents who would scream back at them, maybe raise a hand, when they made a scene in the grocery store - maybe leadingnorth is even a parent of kids, replicating the same reactive, anger-driven, behavior. It takes maturity, strength of will and character to do the kind of parenting described in books like this, which is anathema to triggered Trumpkins like that.

How someone takes issue with a book called “Raising good humans” is baffling! Does that mean you would prefer to raise bad humans? Bizarre!
