Thank you for this! Swami Vivekananda is justifiably revered in India, he brought back Vedanta into the fore at a time Hinduism was marked with excessive ritualism and destructive social practices. SV was a reformer in the way he took thoe rituals to be metaphors and just that of the abstract cosmological principles Hinduism and in fact most religions(philosophia perennialis) is based upon.
